Questions
How much do I get paid?
Each job offer shows your share before you accept: at least 50% and up to 80% of the customer total, as set out in the Cleaner Agreement.
When are payouts made?
Payouts are made weekly to your bank account. Eligible completed jobs go into the next Friday payout run after seven full days, as explained in the Cleaner Agreement.
Do I need an ABN?
Yes, you need an ABN to take jobs. No ABN yet? You can still apply — getting one is free.
What insurance do I need?
You need public liability insurance of at least $5 million, and you upload your certificate before you're approved.
Do I need my own equipment?
Yes. You'll need your own cleaning equipment for each job.
Is there an ID check?
Yes. You complete an online ID verification when you set up your account on Assistora.
Can I choose my own jobs?
Yes. You choose which job offers to accept and the days, times and areas that suit you.
Am I an employee?
Cleaners run their own independent business rather than working as our employees, as set out in the Cleaner Agreement. You look after your own tax and, where it applies, GST.
Are jobs guaranteed?
No. Approval doesn't guarantee a minimum number of jobs, hours or income. Offers depend on things like your location, services and availability.
